Now I'm stuck in an never ending cycle of 'Turning on my Mac - getting stuck in OS X Utilities - Trying to reinstall - and failing at the last hurdle). I thought i could deal with this and just install Mavericks and then later update to Yosemite (At least then I'd be able to actually access the Macbook) However after reaching the final 10 minutes of the Mavericks reinstallation it just stopped reinstalling and went straight back to the OS X Utilities section without actually installing anything. I thought this was strange and again decided to Verify My disk, which again read 'Ok', Upon Reinstalling OS X Again I noticed it was installing OS X Mavericks not Yosemite. When I then turned it on again, it immediately went to OS X Utilities without any command. Unfortunately I could not restore from Time Machine Backup as I have no previous Backups (A lesson I have learned for the future), However when I attempted to reinstall OS X Yosemite from the OS X utilities section it reached the final 5 minutes of installation and left me with the message 'OS X reinstallation was unsuccessful', and then the Macbook promptly Froze. So I entered OS X Utilities, using cmd + R, I verified My disks on the disk utility section and the result reads 'OK'. It then would no longer load past the apple logo. I tried to update my Macbook Pro (2009, 5,5) to Yosemite, half way through the installation process it crashed. With an issue like this I would usually take my Macbook in store however I'm currently living hours away from a local Store.
